About the role
As an Irrigation Technician at Belair Turf Management, you will be a vital member of our Projects Team, contributing to large-scale works such as golf course irrigation installations, oval construction, and Council reserve irrigation system upgrades. This full-time role, based in Lonsdale, offers the opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and municipal projects while also supporting general irrigation system maintenance across our client base.

You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of irrigation systems that support the health, functionality, and presentation of turf and landscaped spaces.

What you’ll be doing

Participate in the installation of new irrigation systems across a variety of projects, including sports ovals, golf courses, and Council reserves

Work from technical plans and specifications to accurately install or upgrade irrigation systems

Liaise with clients, project managers, and team members to deliver high-quality outcomes

Maintain accurate job records, service logs, and asset documentation

What we’re looking for

Minimum of 2 years' experience in irrigation installation or maintenance, ideally on commercial or municipal projects

Strong understanding of irrigation components and installation methods, including pump systems, valves, controllers, and sprinkler layouts

Ability to read technical plans and schematics

Great attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a project team

Solid communication skills and a customer-first mindset

Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
