About the role - EXCITING PAEDIATRIC SPEECH PATHOLOGIST OPPORTUNITY AT OUR PRACTICE
If you are looking for an interesting and well supported position as a speech pathologist with a paediatric caseload, then look no further. What we offer compared to other positions advertised is that the mentor has over two decades of experience with extended experience in paediatric speech pathology, educational speech pathology, complex adult dysphagia and disability as well as working in the space of mental health and dysphagia. Mentoring is available daily. Currently, we have a caseload of paediatric and adolescent clients waiting for speech pathology services. The position is view to full time. A child care early learning centre is being built directly across the road.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional speech pathology services to our diverse client base.

As a community based role, we see clients either at the clinic, their homes, day programs, preschools, schools and out in the community. We strive to achieve success and improve the quality of life of our clients. This we find is rewarding.
We offer work life balance and flexibility around the management of your caseload. You may have days in the community and then chose to work from home or, have a clinic day and write reports, notes, make phone calls in the comfort of our clinic, ample free parking, close to the waterfront, lake swimming pool, exceptional restaurants, cafes, banking, do your shopping on the way home at Woolworths or Coles or even have a massage. We have amazing reception and administration staff who manage your caseload for you.
We offer the balance working Mums need where you can see clients, finish off at 2pm and then pick your children up from school. You can even have a day set aside for canteen day or a help out at school day for your children.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualised treatment plans
Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions to clients of all ages, including children and adolescents
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
Attending team meetings with the clients allied health team
Maintaining detailed client records and providing thorough progress reports
Participating in continuing professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in speech pathology - funded by the practice
Actively contributing to the growth and development of the Communicate Connect practice
What we're looking for
New graduates are welcome to apply
Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
Someone who is able to be registered with Speech Pathology Australia
Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
