About the role

Join the team at TwistED Science, a dynamic science museum in Echuca, Victoria. We are seeking enthusiastic, part-timer (3 days per week) and casual staff to engage visitors with our interactive science exhibits and educational programs. What you'll be doing

Connect with our visitors with our hands-on science activities

Assist with set-up, maintenance, and cleaning of exhibits and facilities

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a safe, engaging experience for all visitors in a busy environment

Use your science communication skills to deliver school holiday programs, school workshops, and special events

Provide direction and support to junior staff

Manage phone calls and sell tickets at the front desk

What we're looking for

A genuine interest in science, education, and delivering exceptional customer experiences

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences

Enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive, problem-solving attitude

Relevant experience in a customer service, tourism, or educational role (highly desirable)

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and school holidays

A Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
