About the role
Are you a people-person with who thrives on staying organised? Love being the friendly face that makes someone's day? We're looking for a warm and reliable Administrative Support Officer (ASO) to join our welcoming team at South West Medical Centre.
In this fast-paced, front-line role, you will work alongside a passionate team of admin staff, GPs, Nurses, and our Practice Manager to create a smooth, supportive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
What You will Be Doing:
- Greet and check in patients with a smile
- Schedule appointments and manage patient enquiries
- Keep medical records and admin systems up to date
- Process payments and handle banking with care
- Ensure clinical spaces are stocked and ready
- Manage referrals, scanning, and general admin tasks
Position overview
- Permanent part-time (40 hours per fortnight)
** Enjoy a variety of 8-hour shifts scheduled throughout a 5-day workweek
- Location: South West Medical Centre
- Classification: Administrative Grade 1
- Salary Range: $54,839.20 - $64,610 pro rata per, plus superannuation

- Excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills
- Experience in a GP clinic, medical terminology, or GP software is a bonus—but not essential
