As an Antifouling Technician | Sandblaster, you’ll play a crucial role in protecting vessels from marine growth by applying antifouling coatings and prepping surfaces for smooth, clean finishes. This position also requires sandblasting tasks, which will be compensated at double the Award Rate.

Key Responsibilities:

Antifouling Technician Duties:

Prepare vessel surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming hulls.

Apply antifouling coatings and ensure a smooth, even finish.

Work with a variety of antifouling products, tailored to different boat types.

Conduct quality inspections to meet safety and finish standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Sandblasting Duties:

Sandblast surfaces to remove old paint, rust, and coatings.

Ensure a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.

Work with a range of sandblasting equipment.

Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment.

Collaborate with the antifouling team for smooth task transitions.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in antifouling or related trades is preferred, but not essential.

Proven sandblasting experience, preferably in the marine or industrial sector.

Ability to work efficiently and safely in physically demanding roles.

Strong attention to detail and focus on high-quality work.

Team player with a proactive, positive attitude.

A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
