About the role

Comlek, an established and reputable electrical services provider in Mackay, QLD, is seeking an enthusiastic Test and Tag Technician to join our team. This is a casual position with the opportunity for on-the-job training and development. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical equipment across a variety of commercial and industrial sites.

What you'll be doing

Visually inspect, test and tag electrical equipment to ensure compliance with Australian Standards

Maintain detailed records of all testing and tagging activities

Liaise with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements

Provide recommendations on equipment maintenance and replacement

Support the wider electrical services team as required

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Willingness to travel to the mines in the Bowen Basin and stay overnight at mining camps, with flexible working hours.

Driver’s License (Manual) - Essential

Coal Board Medical - Preferred but not essential

Standard 11 - Preferred but not essential

Test and Tag Certificate or the ability to obtain one
