About the role

MLP Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join our team in Geelong, VIC. As a Roof Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, ensuring they are watertight and in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a leading roofing company.

What you'll be doing

Measuring, cutting, and installing all aspects of metal roofing.

Repairing and maintaining existing roofing systems, including fixing leaks and replacing worn or damaged components

Troubleshooting and problem-solving roofing issues to ensure the integrity and longevity of the roofing system

Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as roofers and builders, to complete complex roofing projects

Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with clients throughout the project

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in plumbing, such as a Certificate III in Plumbing

Extensive experience as a Roof Plumber, with a strong understanding of roofing systems and materials

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve roofing issues

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
