Verdant Horticulture and Maintenance Pty Ltd is seeking a lead horticulturist to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. This hands-on leadership role works across high-end gardens, acreage properties, and premium landscapes.

You’ll initially work closely with our director, then take the lead on select jobs, supporting the team, liaising with clients, and maintaining exceptional standards on-site.

We’re looking for someone experienced, reliable, and forward-thinking. Someone who’s not just a great horticulturist, but also keen to contribute ideas, streamline operations, and help us grow.

Key responsibilities:

Lead jobs across acreage and prestige properties

Communicate with clients and quote small extras

Support scheduling and job flow

Provide support and guidance to the team

Monitor equipment condition and workflow

Maintain plant, garden, and turf health/presentation at a high level

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Have strong horticultural knowledge and hands-on experience

Are confident leading a team and speaking with clients

Can problem-solve, plan, and take initiative

Want to work with a professional, sustainability-minded team

The offer:

$38–$42/hr (based on experience)

Immediate start available

Vehicle flexibility: use your own with a fuel allowance or one of ours
