As a Correctional Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare and/or mental health services to individuals within the correctional facility. This role requires a compassionate and adaptable individual with strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting health assessments and developing individualised care plans.
• Providing primary healthcare services, including wound care, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions.
• Assessing and managing the mental health needs of patients.

About You:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Proven experience in primary healthcare and/or mental health nursing.
• Excellent clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
