We are a not-for-profit National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider. Our Head Office is based in Wagga Wagga but we are located throughout the Riverina Murray region.
About the Opportunity
We have a casual opportunity for an individual to join our Laundry team in Narrandera. This position will likely operate for 20hrs per week between Monday and Friday, however, this will fluctuate week to week. As a Laundry Worker, you’ll work as part of a small team to assist in the day-to-day operations of the business whilst simultaneously supporting employees with a disability within their job. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform a range of task such as the laundry and ironing of clothes and liaising with customers
• Work with and provide support to people with a disability to increase their skills and assist them to become more independent, competent and productive in their specific position
• Build on your knowledge of work health and safety requirements in the workplace and communicate any unsafe conditions or behaviors

Importantly, you must demonstrate a real passion to make a positive difference for people with disability. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to increase their working hours by undertaking work at our Recycling facility in Narrandera.

This position is remunerated at a base casual rate of $31.76 (inclusive of casual loading) per hour plus super.
