Our client in the IT solutions manufacturing industry, seek experienced laptop/mobile technicians to join a small team of engineers, productions staff in Silverwater.

This is not your traditional laptop technician role, you will be working on a production line, assessing equipment, and entering data into an Excel spreadsheet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming batches and sort devices by category and model. Devices will be of categories like mobile phones, tablets, home phones, safety pendants
• Knowledge of performing assessment on Mobiles (highly essential), Laptops, routers, and Audio devices.
• Strong knowledge on using PCs and are computer savvy
• Asses each device for mentioned faults as per the standard assessment guidelines.
• Perform firmware flashing as required.
• Accurately update all assessment results in the Excel- Device cleaning, label printing
• Finalise and organise devices into appropriate categories/boxes based on assessment results.
• Meet a minimum daily assessment target of 40 devices.

About you!

• Strong technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and a commitment to high-quality service.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in computer repair or a similar role, familiarity with diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.
• Strong passion for cutting-edge PC hardware and technology; familiarity with MSI products is a plus.
