Senior Media Adviser

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW), Australia’s largest rural water authority, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Media Adviser to join our Communications, Engagement and Media team. This role is pivotal in shaping our corporate brand through strategic media management and stakeholder engagement.

About the role

As the Senior Media Adviser, you will lead GMW's media, issues and stakeholder management efforts. Based in Tatura, northern Victoria, you will provide specialist media advice to GMW’s leadership group and other key staff, ensuring effective, proactive communication and public relations.

What you need:

Tertiary qualifications in journalism or a related field, or extensive experience in a media, communications, or related role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work flexible hours.

A knowledge of the water industry is an advantage.
