The Role

We are searching for Intermediate/Senior Analysts to join our growing team in Parramatta Office.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency team you’ll coordinate and progress a variety of engagements. Day to day you’ll be involved in:

Co-ordinating and conducting formal insolvency matters such as Court Liquidations, Creditors Voluntary Liquidations, Members Voluntary Liquidations, Receiverships, Small Business Restructures and Voluntary Administrations

Assisting with Independent Business Reviews and Pre-Lending reviews for financial institutions

Lead investigations, oversee asset realisations, and ensure regulatory compliance

Dealing with key stakeholders, such as management, employees, creditors and investors

Preparing detailed reports for creditors, lenders, and regulators

Reviewing all working papers to ensure accuracy and that files are maintained in the appropriate manner

Executing day to day operational strategies and maintain compliance with key risk management processes

Supervising and mentoring junior staff in the execution of tasks

Performing and overseeing financial and commercial analysis to support key decisions and recommendations to our clients

Participating in business development, including developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers and across the HoganSprowles network.

What We're Looking For

For Senior Analysts:

2–3+ years of experience in corporate insolvency or restructuring

Completed tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Law

CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)

Enrolled in or aspiring to undertake the ARITA Advanced Insolvency Certification

Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities

High attention to detail and a client-first mindset

For Intermediate Analysts:

1–2 years' experience in a similar insolvency role

Tertiary qualifications in progress or completed

Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn

Solid organisational skills and a collaborative attitude
