Full Australian work rights and a pre-employment medical are required.

What You’ll Do:

Cal-Tech employees get to use state-of the art calibration and diagnostic equipment on a day-to-day basis to perform ADAS front camera calibrations. This ensures the customers safety system is in perfect working order after a windscreen replacement.

You will perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the day. This ranges from diagnostic scans of vehicles to ensure customers ADAS is in working order before work is carried out to Static and Dynamic calibrations. Static calibrations involve precisely setting up calibration equipment to ensure proper alignment of the ADAS camera. Dynamic calibrations involve driving the vehicle on set routes to ensure the camera correctly references road markings and signage. Cal-tech employees also learn how to perform Chip-Repairs using O’Brien’s Advanced Repair Technology.

Advancements in the ADAS space means O’Brien is constantly striving and evolving our processes and technology to stay ahead of the competition and provide the best solution for our customers. For a Cal-Tech employee this means access to the latest equipment and processes for the newest models. This large variety of vehicles that O’Brien service mean a Cal-Tech employee can gain experience with many makes and models ranging from Toyota to Lamborghini with opportunities to expand into commercial vehicles.

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualified Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic OR Auto Electrician

Experience in automotive, mechanical, or auto-electrical work

Customer-focused with great problem-solving skills

Able to drive both automatic and manual vehicles

Reliable, eager to learn, and safety-conscious
