About the role

As a full-time Motor Mechanic at Palmview Mechanical, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, from cars to light commercial vehicles. Your work will be vital in keeping our clients' vehicles running smoothly and safely. What you'll be doing

• Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tune-ups
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
• Replacing worn or faulty parts and components
• Conducting vehicle inspections and providing recommendations for necessary repairs
• Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
• Ensuring a safe and efficient workspace

What we're looking for

• Qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
• Several years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with a wide range of automotive systems and components
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Good communication skills to liaise with customers
• A valid driver's licence and your own tools
