The role :

One of our key services is the management of the deployment of IT services and equipment. These Professional Services individuals attend an offsite location for a period of time to stage, store, install, asset tag and load IT equipment.

This is a physically demanding role requiring a level of fitness to move IT equipment around an office, connect cables and restage desks.

We have a Team Leader role available - permanent, full time.

We require an ambitious Team Leader with a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will need to be available across the 7 days of the week and hours may include morning, afternoon and night work, depending on the projects. The role is 38 hours per week plus relevant overtime for ‘out of hours’ work. The role also requires to work in the warehouse when needed.

Responsibilities of the position may include:

 Manage installation schedules

 Equipment Collection from various customer sites

 Refresh images

 Drive company van or rental vehicles

 Data Capture

 Personnel deployment

 Refresh activities

 Upgrades & configurations

 Transport and Operation of company machinery (e.g. HD Shredders, Degausser)

 Disconnection and Reconnection of PC based IT equipment.

 Provide intermediate IT Support

 Management of staff moves and changes within a building

 Secure packaging and transport of equipment

 Client-facing whilst working within the client's office

 Assist client's staff with queries & concerns

To be considered for this role you will need:

 Previous experience in a similar position

 Preferably a degree in Information Technology

 Be able to deal with confidential information and pass a police check

 To be flexible in work schedule depending on assigned jobs

 Be willing to lead a small team - professional manner, appearance and communication are key

 Be physically fit

 To have a safety-first mindset.

 Handle all aspects of the refresh process, quickly, courteously and with minimal disruption to our client’s staff

 Display a high work ethic with a can-do attitude and superior communication skills

 Current truck (MR/HR) license OR willing to acquire one

MUST BE COMFORTABLE IN DRIVING A SMALL TRUCK (requires car licence).
