Experis Australia is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with React experience for a Canberra-based client, starting 1st July 2025.
You must hold active Baseline Clearance and reside in Canberra, ACT.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Azure-based web APIs and portal applications to support regulatory processes.
• Integrate system components to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Provide technical advice on system development and architecture.
• Apply secure coding practices to ensure robust and compliant solutions.
• Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure.
• Develop solutions aligned with detailed application architecture documents.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and departmental standards.
• Create and review technical and release documentation.
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile team.
• Mentor team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Undertake additional duties as required.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:1. Technical Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience developing secure web-based business solutions.
• Expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Azure API Manager.
• Experience in developing web applications using React or Angular.
• Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM) and its security controls.
• Strong experience in unit, integration, and automation testing (e.g., xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, Playwright.NET).

2. Cloud Development & Integration:

• Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Manager.
• Azure DevOps and Visual Studio for CI/CD, code management, and repositories.
• Integration of custom-built apps with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

• Proven experience in cloud-based solution implementation using:
• Experience in optimizing legacy code for Azure Cloud environments.

3. Agile Development:

• Experience working in Agile multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure, user-friendly, and reliable solutions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.

4. Cultural Fit & Team Collaboration:

• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to mentor and support team members, fostering a positive team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Desirable Criteria):

• Experience developing in Agile and DevOps delivery models.
• Experience developing web applications using React or Angular.
• Knowledge of Integration, UI, and Frontend testing (e.g., Selenium, Playwright.NET, Jest).
• Tertiary qualifications in software design and development.
• Experience working with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Blob storage, and high-volume data processing.
