Barcodes Group is an Australian-owned company that has been a leader in barcode labelling and data capture solutions for over 20 years. We provide barcode hardware, software, and label printing services, ensuring high levels of customer service, support, and after-sales care. You’ll be helping Australian businesses achieve their technology goals. Barcodes Group has been steadily growing for years and needs another Customer Service & Sales Support role to fulfil the demand.

You're looking to work in a stable company where you are not micro-managed and can take ownership of your role. However, you will still be working with a supportive team, who will be happy to answer your questions and collaborate.

You likely have experience in administrative roles and are familiar with tasks such as answering phones, replying to emails, creating quotes, entering orders, and managing purchase orders and invoices. You enjoy working with computers and software, and you are comfortable learning new systems. You are familiar with and competent with basic maths such as GST and markup calculations.

You are someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy and speed. You pride yourself on having everything under control. If you love organizing, this role is for you.

A large portion of this role is speaking to people on the phone, so it’s important that you like talking to people, and helping them with any enquiries or questions. You are interested in handling customers to 100% satisfaction.

You are interested in how businesses operate and to learn about technical products such as printers and scanners. You are a quick learner and can master new information and processes. You enjoy helping people and can patiently assist customers with their inquiries and orders.

You will receive product training and will have someone available to answer your questions. A basic understanding of printers, scanners, and labels is expected, and you will develop a deeper knowledge through on-the-job experience.

The role includes:

Answering phone calls and taking orders.

Replying to emails and creating quotes using accounting software.

Entering orders and booking consignments online.

Placing orders with suppliers.

Checking emails and banking.

Raising purchase orders.

Understanding POs, sales, invoices, and supplier invoices.

Accurate billing and co-marketing (building transaction reports for partners).

Re-ordering when stock levels are low.

You'll start with the basics and gradually take on more complex tasks as you learn and grow.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Brunswick/Coburg, with hours from 9 am to 5 pm. The pay is $60K plus Super.
