Your opportunity:

Our rapidly growing Digital & Information Group is expanding, and we are seeking a Digital Operations Analyst to join our Shared Services team.

The Digital & Information Group is responsible for digitally enabling Urban Utilities today while transforming our future capabilities to enhance digital services for our customers, community, and people. We drive Urban Utilities' digital & data strategy, oversee the digital portfolio, and manage IT, OT, data, IoT, cyber security, infrastructure, system administration, network operations, and support services. This role offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation that is driving digital transformation and enhancing service delivery for our customers, community, and people.

Reporting to the Lead, the Digital Operations Analyst primary function is coordinate technical Change and Release Management and chair the Change Advisory Board with a secondary focus on supporting other Service Management functions including Vendor and Contract Management and Compliance and self serve Procurement.

This role will also be required to collaborate with the Shared Services team and other delivery teams to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the Service Management Office to identify areas for Service Management improvements and champion these through to implementation.

About you:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification or higher
  • Experience in Change management and Release management, with a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence change and drive process adoption across teams.
  • Proven ability to drive CAB processes and facilitate decision-making for change approvals and prioritisation.
  • Experience with ICT Vendor and Contract Management, including reviewing contract terms, requesting quotes, generating purchase requisitions.
  • Strong understanding of Software Licencing concepts and being able to apply licencing metrics.
  • Experience with Records Management practices.
  • Familiarity with IT service management concepts and tools (experience with ServiceNow is highly advantageous).
  • Experience driving continual process or service improvement initiatives, including contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to support Digital operations.
  • Security clearance/SOCI requirements may apply, depending on the role and responsibilities.

Performance of 'on call' duties are an inherent requirement of this role. This requires that the employee must be available to be on-call and to attend to work matters, both in person and remotely, outside of normal working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as reasonably required to fulfill the requirements of the position. The days, times, duration and frequency of on call arrangements may be subject to change, including at short notice, as required by Urban Utilities' operational needs as applying from time to time. At all times whilst on-call, you must be fit for duty, contactable, and able to respond, including the ability to physically attend if required, to the operational needs of the business within a reasonable timeframe and in a safe manner.
