About the role
The Commissioning Coordinator’s role is to support the HNECC PHNs goal of improving health outcomes for people living in the Hunter New England and Central Coast regions.
The position coordinates and oversees the design, commissioning, procurement and ongoing management of PHN funded Integrated Team Care services across the region. The role works with organisations to deliver services that promote best quality health care in our communities. The Integrated Team Care program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live with complex chronic conditions.

The successful candidate will have:

Tertiary qualifications in health, social welfare, or business field or relevant experience in a similar role.

Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, consensus-building, data analysis and consultation skills.

Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to achieve organisational/contract goals and performance.

Ability to work independently, and in a collaborative team. Set objectives and meet these within appropriate timeframes.

High level computer literacy with a range of software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information

*PHN's have been funded by the Department of Health since 2015. All roles at our PHN are maximum-term and linked to our funding contracts with the Department of Health. This is a maximum term contract until 30 June 2026 and any contract extensions are dependent on ongoing funding.
**Salary: This role is classified as I – M within our Enterprise Agreement and the rate will be dependent on skills and experience/qualifications. New appointments are generally offered between grade I – K.
