About the Role
Are you an experienced people leader ready to champion social justice and drive meaningful change?
Advocacy Law Alliance (ALA) is seeking a dynamic Regional Manager to lead our Port Macquarie & Mid North Coast team of Disability Advocates. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee daily operations, mentor a dedicated team, and directly support clients to navigate legal and social systems for fairer outcomes.

What You’ll Do
Lead and develop a team of passionate disability advocates
Oversee regional service delivery, including complaints management and complex case support
Manage office operations, caseloads and staff performance
Foster a values-aligned, high-performing culture (We are Courageous, Caring, Creative and Connected)
Provide strategic leadership across your region, contributing to organisational goals through planning and compliance
Hold a small caseload of clients, providing direct individual advocacy support alongside your leadership responsibilities
Deliver service reporting, and carry out quality assurance and performance monitoring in your region, ensuring audit readiness
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience leading teams in community, health, legal, or disability services, with the ability to foster a positive, values-driven culture where people can do their best work
A deep understanding of Human rights-centred advocacy and the systemic and individual issues impacting people with disability
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage complexity and make informed, evidence-based decisions with accountability and clear communication to drive positive outcomes
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Law, Psychology, Community Services or similar
