HVAC Team Leader | Service

APAC FM are seeking an experienced HVAC Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clients Brisbane-based service team. In this role, you will manage a team of 20 skilled HVAC technicians and be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, strong client engagement, and continuous team support and development.

This is a predominantly office-based role, with occasional on-site presence to maintain client relationships, inspect key sites, and ensure service standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and support a team of up to 20 HVAC technicians, including scheduling, mentoring, and performance management.

Coordinate and prioritise daily service operations, ensuring all reactive, preventative, and scheduled works are executed efficiently.

Prepare and manage job quotations, variations, and scope of works.

Liaise with clients to provide technical support, resolve complaints, and maintain long-term relationships.

Conduct regular team meetings and toolbox talks to promote safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

Oversee service delivery and quality assurance across sites.

Collaborate with administration, compliance, and account management to deliver integrated service outcomes.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting, work order closures, and use of field service management systems.

Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians resolving complex HVAC issues.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team in a service-based HVAC environment.

Trade qualified in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Current QBCC License.

Good technical knowledge of HVAC systems, with some exposure to chilled water systems and BMS systems.

High-level communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Current and valid driver's license.

Strong understanding of WHS and compliance standards.
