Are you an experienced and skilled technician looking for a challenge? We have a position available on our Help Desk team as a senior L3 engineer, based out of our Parramatta office.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced technician to join our Help Desk technical team. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the candidate will need strong interpersonal skills, and have the following key responsibilities:
You will utilize the latest MSP tools available and work with members of your team, while providing excellent support to customers.
You will be trained and have exposure to a large number of technologies and products.
The Successful Applicant
Expert problem-solving skills.
Expert knowledge of supporting Windows Desktop operating systems (7-11).
Good knowledge of managing Windows Server operating systems (2016-2022).
Expert knowledge of managing Active Directory user accounts and groups.
Good knowledge of managing user accounts on Microsoft Exchange systems (Exchange Online/On-Premises 2010-2019).
Good knowledge of managing Office 365 tenants.
Experience in network concepts and managing network equipment such as switches, firewalls, wireless access points, etc.
Experience in Backup and Disaster Recovery Systems.
The ability to handle escalation scenarios and manage customer expectations.
Will have good presentation, communication and phone skills.
Will be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
Will have a valid driver's license and the legal right to work in Australia.
Personal Attributes
Will have a minimum of 4 years technical experience working for a Managed Service Provider or similar role.
Will have relevant technical qualifications or equivalent experience and skill.
Will take pride in the quality of their work and be able to demonstrate a high level of performance in prior technical roles.
Be reliable, punctual, well organised and presented.
Has desire to work within a growing business and be rewarded for their success.
Experience in MSP tools preferred but not required.
A valid NSW driver’s license and your own roadworthy vehicle
Current Microsoft 365/Azure certifications - desirable
Exceptional communication
Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Eager to continuously grow and improve technical skills
