Personal Carer (Care Companion) | Blue Care | Sunrise Beach Aged Care Facility

Employment Status: Permanent full-time and part-time opportunities

Remuneration: $33.50 per hour + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

INCENTIVE:

Your part in our BlueCare team

As a Personal Carer (Care Companion), you’ll provide care to your residents in accordance with the Household Model of Care, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes, general mobility and laundry

Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Advocating for the residents while providing them with choice, fostering skills and encouraging engagement

What makes a difference for us?

Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification

Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
