ProQuest Recruitment are looking to employ HC and MC Truck Drivers that are interested in becoming a part of a small, yet successful logistics team based in Canningvale.

You will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods to our client's sites within the metro area. This role does not entail manual labour, rather the loading and unloading of goods is undertaken by a site forklift driver. Our client maintains a modern fleet of Automatic Trucks including some manual rigids and prioritises safety and workplace culture over targets.

We are looking for ATTITUDE OVER EXPERIENCE. If you are relatively new to HC or MC Truck Driving and consider yourself a team player that values a Positive company culture, then we want to hear from you.

• DRIVING PRIME MOVERS TOWING SINGLE TRAILER.
• BEING ABLE TO COUPLE AND DECOUPLE TRAILERS IS ESSENTIAL.
• THE TRAILERS WILL BE LOADED WITH PALLETS OF CARDBOARD BY VISY BOARD FORKLIFT OPERATORS.
• DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO STRAP THEIR LOAD, PULL CURTAINS OPEN AND CLOSED. PERFORM PALLET COUNTS OF THEIR TOTAL LOAD TO REPORT TO THE OFFICE STAFF.
• SIGN FOR THEIR LOADS INCLUDING PRE-DEPARTURE DOCUMENTATION. INTERACT WITH CUSTOMERS UPON DELIVERY.

To be successful with this application you must be able to demonstrate and meet the following criteria:

• Hold a current HC or MC driving licence
• Experience in reversing these vehicles
• Hold an up-to-date commercial drivers medical assessment (Or willing to get one)
• Hold a current fatigue management certificate (or willing to get one)
• Must have unrestricted working rights
• Excellent work ethic with a "Can Do" attitude

In return, we offer you

• 9-10-hour workday - Monday to Friday (50 - 55 hours per week at the moment!)
• 0430 to 0530 start and finish 530 times however these can be flexible depending on the applicant
• $37.06 - $38.29 per hour - please note this is a casual rate -
• These roles are temp to perm so reduce when becoming a full time employee - though you are able to stay as casual for longer if you prefer the higher rate.
