2XM Healthcare is proud to partner with a leading community organisation in the Pilbara to deliver high-impact, trauma-informed counselling services to vulnerable communities.

We are currently seeking a Child & Family Counsellor to join an established multidisciplinary team based in rural, WA. This is a meaningful opportunity to work directly with children, adolescents, and their families who have experienced trauma, family violence, or abuse.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver therapeutic counselling to children, youth, and families impacted by trauma, sexual assault, abuse, or family violence.

Develop and facilitate preventative and community education programs alongside other agencies.

Provide trauma-informed support as part of an integrated service model within the community.

Build strong relationships with local stakeholders and support community capacity building.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related discipline.

Substantial experience supporting children, youth, and families with complex needs.

A compassionate, culturally aware approach to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.

Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and legislative frameworks.

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills.

Compliance Requirements:

Current Working with Children Check

National Police Clearance

Unrestricted Manual Driver’s License
