The Company

Fusion Network Solutions is an elite Fibre Optic Telecommunications Company that contracts to major carriers to complete the hauling, splicing, testing and commissioning of the Fibre Optic Network. A recently established company, beginning in February 2017, Fusion has rapidly grown and in a short time has become a preferential company for Project Managers throughout the industry. Due to this expansion, and increased demand for our work, we are growing the company and looking for an experienced technician to add to our already strong team. The applicant should have experience in major carriers, such as NBN, Telstra, TPG and Aarnet. Splicing and Testing experience preferred, with knowledge of these networks infrastructure essential. Location

Office is based in Glen Waverley however work is situated in Metro and Regional Victoria.

Hours

Full Time position – 38 hours/week (plus overtime where applicable).- Start and finish times vary. Overtime often available.

Responsibilities

• Completion of projects independently or as part of our team.
• Versatile technician, capable of switching between carrier networks and requirements of each.
• Willing to partake in all aspects of Telecommunication work, including Survey, RRP, Haul, Splice, Test & Commission.
• Delivery of required hand overs and paperwork on completion of projects.

Essential Requirements

• Punctual.
• Hard-working and strong team work ethic.
• Reliable.
• Manual Driver’s License
• Must either have or be willing to obtain: Accredited White Card, Confined Space Ticket, Accredited First Aid and WWCC, Full Vaccination for Covid 19.
• Certificate III in Telecommunications - Fibre Optic Splicing
