Responsibilities:

Reception Duties: Greet and check-in guests, provide information and assistance, with accommodation and Tourism bookings /activity advise & handle reservations ensure a smooth check-out process. payments, Face to face - dispute resolution, Admin: email responses, researching, End of day reports, assisting managers.

Bar - Greet customers: take drink orders, and provide excellent service, Drink Preparation: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook basic menu items according to recipes and customer orders. Openings and setting up the Bar area, Closing and Cleaning Up the Bar.

Guest Engagement: Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, interact with guests, organize / host events, and facilitate a sense of community within the hostel, Usine teh Bar and Cafe area as the Main Social Venue. Creating content and posting on social Media platforms and OTA'S

Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of common areas and guest rooms, ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay, Assistant

Teamwork: Collaborate with the hostel, Housekeeping & Bar managers to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.d

Qualifications:

Previous experience paid working in hostels, 6mth+ Prefered

Previous bar / Hospitality experience - 12mth + Prefered

Current RSA Cert

experience using CloudBeds

A wide skill set and the ability to adapt to various responsibilities.

An outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for customer service.

Ability to work 6 months + and contribute to the hostel's success.
