About the role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer Designer to join our team at DC Civil Enterprises Pty Ltd in Parkes, NSW. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your needs. As a Civil Engineer Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of civil engineering projects, contributing to the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for a variety of civil engineering projects

Conduct detailed site assessments and investigations to inform the design process

Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects

Perform technical calculations, analyses, and simulations to validate design solutions

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Provide technical support and advice to the wider engineering team

What we're looking for

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Proven experience in civil engineering design, preferably in a consulting or construction environment

Strong proficiency in the use of engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
