ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing professional advice and technical services in civil engineering design and documentation to assist within Local Government civil projects. You will manage outsourced designs and provide external advice to identify and resolve technical issues that will affect delivery of the design.

DUTIES

• Supporting the Coordinator Engineering Services & Design
• Undertaking concept and detailed design work for civil infrastructure including roadworks, pathways and drainage
• Providing advice and information on engineering design matters
• Site investigations and visits

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
