SDET Employment Mentor - What's the job about?

This is not your traditional disability employment services role. You will provide intensive, person-centred, and customised assistance to participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them realise their potential and achieve their employment aspirations. With a smaller caseload than usual, and the support of a dedicated team, you will have the time to deliver high-quality service to each participant, their family or carer, employers, and partner organisations.

• Advocate to Achieve: A passion for disability employment and an "above and beyond" attitude to case management
• Engage & Inspire: Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Coach & Motivate: The ability to evaluate the skills and interests of individuals and identify suitable employment opportunities
• Learn & Progress: Demonstrated knowledge or a willingness to develop an understanding of contractual requirements, Disability Service Standards, and evidence-based best practices

The successful candidate will be employed on a full-time permanent basis, working across Plenty ESA in predominantly community-based settings, with an office base located in Preston.
