About the role:
We are looking for motivated, client centric, outcome focussed Occupational Therapist with Senior Leadership experience to join our expanding team.
- We are looking for highly driven clinician and leader that thrives on working independently, has the passion to help and support our clients as well as contribute to the positive culture our team already has across the country.
- Your clinical skills must be strong across a number of key areas and across the age span.
- You must be clinically competent in both assessment and therapy services
- You will be provided a work life balance. This is not optional
- It isa requirement to understand and be able to interpret a variety of psychometric screening tools such as the Vineland Adaptive Behavioural Scale, PEDI-CAT, WHODAS (just to name a few)
- You will have an understanding of various assessments within the NDIS that include (but not limited to) SIL, SDA, ILO, AT (low, mid and high cost) and a general FCA
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and experience supporting a team of clinicians is a must
- You will have proven to be able to deliver effective therapeutic interventions that have a focus on building functional capacity
- It is a desirable to have a good level of commercial acumen and understand the key drivers behind referral trends. Providing quality customer service to all stakeholders is essential to be successful for this role. This in turn must flow down to your team as the leader of our business
- You will be a proven clinical leader that is looking for a change and wanting to have some fun along the way whilst delivering quality healthcare
Requirements:
- NDIS and/or experience and understanding is highly desirable
- A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
- Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external
- Understand the fundamental concepts of the NDIS and aged care including the principles of practice, choice and control as well as the reasonable and necessary criteria
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
- Current driver's licence and registered vehicle
- Current AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapist)
- NDIS Worker Check
- Other qualifications specific to disability will be highly regarded
