Two year contract- 24 hours per week

SCHADS award Level 4 dependent on experience

Community Junction Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Engagement Worker to join our organisation. This role will be central in supporting and strengthening the engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within our local area. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying community needs, facilitating culturally appropriate programs, building meaningful relationships, and promoting cultural understanding.

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Development, or related fields or experience

working with Aboriginal children young people and families

· Strong networking skills

· Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

· Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

· A valid driver’s license
