About the role

Pymble Turramurra Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team on a contract basis until the end of 2025. The role is 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday), 8:15-4:30pm.

What you'll be doing

Observing and documenting children development and progress using Storypark.

Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity

Observing and assessing children's progress, identifying individual needs and goals, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

Collaborating with parents, carers, and other professionals to support each child's learning

Ensuring compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and policies

Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practice

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education

A valid Early Childhood Teacher accreditation

Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering engaging educational programs for preschool-aged children using Storypark

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the growth of the children

Experience working as a teacher in an Early childhood setting

Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team

The preschool has an abundance of resources available and a beautiful outdoor environment filled with many spaces and places of wonder and delight.

You would be joining a team of dedicated and passionate individuals some of whom have been teaching at the preschool for over 10 years. Their collective experience and wisdom ensures there is always support available and opportunities to reflect and collaborate.
