About the role

Concrete Recyclers is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team in Parramatta, NSW. As the SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality management within our organisation. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction operations.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive health, safety, environment and quality management systems
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
• Monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions
• Provide training and support to employees on SHEQ policies and procedures
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure SHEQ requirements are met
• Report on SHEQ performance and metrics to senior management
• Stay up-to-date with changes in SHEQ regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or Quality Management
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a SHEQ management role, preferably in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of workplace health and safety legislation, environmental regulations and quality management standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful SHEQ systems and initiatives
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
