About Us:
We are a growing food manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant food products. As we expand, we’re seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Food Safety Manager / Technologist to oversee our food safety systems and ensure we meet all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain the company’s food safety and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC if applicable).

Conduct internal audits and manage third-party inspections.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.

Train staff on food safety protocols and best practices.

Develop and update SOPs, policies, and documentation.

Investigate and respond to non-conformances and customer complaints.

Provide technical support and guidance on product safety, labeling, and shelf-life.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in a food safety/QA/QC role.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and applicable food safety standards.

Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and provide flexible support on a part-time basis.

Certification in HACCP or Food Safety preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our food safety and quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving internal audits and staff training. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing recipes, supporting scale-up processes, and helping bring new, safe, and innovative products to market.

Schedule:
Part time hours 10–15 hours/week, with potential for increased hours during audits or project implementation.
