TORRA are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented store person to join the team for works in Thornton. Our client provides the highest quality machinery, equipment, and services for steel piling projects and is Australia and New Zealand's leading supplier of specialized marine and civil engineering equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively support and contribute to the maintenance and development of a safe working environment and team.
• Stock takes on all stock, rental equipment, and spare parts in the yard and workshop.
• Maintain inventory levels and associated paperwork.
• Assist in maintaining the building, yard area, plant, company vehicles, and equipment.
• Cleaning and processing of steel sheet pile for stock orders, rental, and returns.
• Loading and unloading sheet piles and machinery.
• General administrative duties as required. These include, but are not limited to: record keeping, delivery dockets, scheduling, recording maintenance history and maintenance records, job reports, and stock adjustments.
• Parts and inventory level input and communication.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of general workshop, labouring, or operations experience.
• Forklift license

Advantageous Experience:

• Experience troubleshooting and correcting electrical or mechanical problems, maintaining inventory levels, and scheduling work.
• Previous experience operating small to large forklifts in a warehouse or yard environment.
• Experience handling steel, loading, and unloading transport.
• Experience welding.
