Exciting opportunity with a State Transport Department seeking an experienced Project Manager - Civil

Join a renowned State Government Transport Authority as they seek an experienced Project Manager - Civil. This role involves overseeing the planning and delivery of key infrastructure projects in the region, which may include road construction, transport infrastructure, and other civil engineering works. You will manage budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Your new role
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of civil engineering projects, from initial planning and design to construction and completion. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of Subject-Matter Experts.
• Asking the right questions and interpreting information.
• Integrating information into design and construction plans.

Experience Required

• Project development or construction management experience is essential.
• Practical construction experience to address issues during the building process.
• Experience with intersection upgrades, signalling, bridge strengthening, roundabouts, road rehabilitation, overtaking lanes, wire rope barriers, and road sealing.

What you'll need to succeed

• Mandatory: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Desirable: Project Management qualifications or relevant work experience, Transport or civil design qualifications or relevant work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in the transport sector, specifically in project development.
