In this pivotal role, you will lead cyber security assurance, IT governance, and policy compliance within the Lifetime Support Authority (LSA). You'll play a key part in strengthening our cyber resilience and supporting secure, efficient technology operations aligned with public sector and organisational objectives.
You will champion improvements in IT governance and compliance, driving the implementation of effective policies and controls. You'll work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to uplift cyber security culture and ensure robust risk management practices across the agency

The experience we are looking for…
You're someone who brings deep expertise in cyber security, but also knows how to influence and support others to do things better and more securely. To be successful, you'll demonstrate:
Proven experience in cyber security governance, IT risk management, or compliance in enterprise or government environments
Confidence in developing and implementing IT security policies, frameworks, and controls in line with legislation, standards, and best practice
The ability to assess cyber threats, lead incident response efforts, and coordinate risk remediation activities
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills --able to simplify complex security topics and engage executives, operational teams, and service providers
A deep understanding of contemporary security issues and the South Australian Cyber Security Framework (or the ability to quickly build that understanding)

The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) delivers the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) which funds necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support for people who sustain serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident on South Australian roads, regardless of fault.

Position Conditions: Full-time, 2-Year Fixed-term Opportunity.
Remuneration: ASO7 ($108,109 - $116,864) + Superannuation
Special Conditions
Appointment will be subject to the provision of a satisfactory Criminal History Check that is no more than six months old.
Some out of hours work may be required.

About Lifetime Support Authority
The Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) provides care, treatment and support for people who have sustained very serious lifelong injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in South Australia.
We take a person-centred approach, so that participants have control to make their own choices about their care, treatment and support that best benefit them and their families.
Our team of highly skilled Service Planners and allied health professionals work closely with participants to ensure they live the best life possible.
We administer the LSS in accordance with Part 2 of the Motor Vehicle Accidents (Lifetime Support Scheme) Act 2013.
