About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bookkeeper / Admin person to join our dynamic team at Rootz Distribution Pty Ltd, located in Gepps Cross, SA. This is a casual position, approx. one day per week (preferably Monday or Friday) with the potential for more hours in the future, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing company.

What you'll be doing

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger

Prepare and process payroll for our employees

Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries

Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth running of the office

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or administrative role

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Proficient in Xero

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security
