Hussey & Co, established in 1975, are renowned for producing Australia’s finest gourmet baby leaf salad mixes.

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed machine operators to work in our manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the machine is set every morning / night and ready for production while ensuring the continuous production flow is maintained from start to finish.

Hours of Work:

12 hour shift - 6:00pm - 6:00am

Key responsibilities include:

Chemical dosing units

Temperature and moister control

Machine Operating and setting of Production line

Setting, operating, and removing finished product from the machine

Quality checking of products

Packing finished product

Record all production outputs along with QC reports

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

Able to work on a 7-day fortnight rotating roster

Mechanically minded

Machine Setting/Operating experience

Ability to problem solve

Proactive, self-motivated and the ability to work unsupervised

Enthusiastic

Willingness to learn

High attention to detail

Reliable
