About the Role:

As Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in the statutory reporting process and help navigate a pivotal transition period for the organisation. You'll work across group financial reporting, technical accounting, and transaction related disclosures, supporting the business in a large period of change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the group’s year-end statutory reporting across multiple entities
• Drafting technical accounting papers on business combinations, impairments, goodwill, and disclosure requirements.
• Assisting with the post-sale settlement of a major transaction and ensuring correct accounting treatment.
• Researching and advising on emerging reporting areas, including sustainability and climate disclosures.

About You:

• Strong technical accounting background (AASB, GPFS), ideally with Big 4 or large corporate experience.
• Demonstrated experience drafting accounting position papers and managing complex disclosures.
• Proven ability to handle ambiguity, research new reporting challenges, and influence outcomes.
• CA or CPA qualification is essential.
