WHO WE ARE?

Pro Contracting are an excavation plant hire company working in the civil construction & infrastructure industry.

We have a fleet of plant, equipment and trucks that we supply to clients on long and short term hire & as well as a fleet of company Utes.

As our plant mechanic your primary duties will involve general servicing, safety checks, repairs, general maintenance, welding & diagnostics.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

• Vehicle / Plant mechanic trade qualification

• White card

• A strong service background with proven experience in heavy plant servicing / repairs

• Current drivers licence (MR or HR Preferred but not essential)

• Auto electrical knowledge / trade

• Basis Hydraulic knowledge

• Welding experience

• Problem solving skills / be able to diagnose problems

• Ability to work unsupervised

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Equipment maintenance, servicing & repairs

• Attending site break downs and completing scheduling servicing onsite

• Recording details on work performed in our online system

• Workshop maintenance on plant

• Diagnose, overhaul, repair vehicles and plant as required

• Change teeth on buckets, augers & ground Engadging tools
