About the role

Are you an experienced, motivated Gym Manager looking to lead a dynamic fitness team? We're seeking a passionate and driven Gym Manager to join our team at EDENS VILLAGE FITNESS PTY LTD' in Redbank Plains, Queensland. This full-time role will see you oversee the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art gymnasium, ensuring our members receive an exceptional experience.

What you'll be doing

Manage the overall operations of the gym, including staff scheduling, member service, and facility upkeep

Develop and implement strategies to drive member engagement, retention, and growth

Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of fitness instructors and customer service staff

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and industry regulations

Foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming gym culture for all members

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the gym and its offerings

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar Gym Manager or senior fitness management role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Solid understanding of fitness industry trends, programming, and best practices

Demonstrated success in driving member engagement and retention

Proficient in financial management and budgeting

Relevant tertiary qualification in sport, recreation, or business management
