As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced accounts professional to take ownership of our claims, collections, and financial processes — driving efficiency, improving cash flow, and supporting our next stage of growth.
The Role
We’re looking for a Claims and Accounts Specialist to expertly manage accident claims, toll and fine allocation, collections, invoicing, refunds, and general accounts tasks, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly. This role will initially focus on resolving aged receivables, outstanding claims, outsourcing tasks where appropriate, and laying the groundwork for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accident claims end-to-end — liaising with customers, insurers, and third parties to achieve fast resolution and minimise business liability.
Oversee toll and fine allocation, ensuring timely cost recovery.
Lead collections for overdue accounts and manage aged receivables to improve cash flow.
Manage accounts — invoicing, reconciliations, and payment tracking with accuracy.
Identify and implement outsourcing opportunities (e.g., debt collection, claims processing) to reduce workload and costs.
Improve claims and collections processes to drive efficiency and reduce outstanding balances.
Provide financial reporting and insights to support business growth and decision-making.
Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in claims management, debt collection, or accounts, ideally in a rental, automotive, or customer-facing business.
Strong organisational skills with a talent for resolving complex claims and recovering overdue payments.
Expertise in managing receivables and negotiating with customers or insurers to achieve positive outcomes.
Familiarity with outsourcing financial or administrative tasks to third-party providers for efficiency.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and tools for tracking claims or fines.
Excellent communication skills to handle sensitive customer interactions with professionalism.
A results-driven mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for supporting business growth.
Knowledge of the rental industry is a bonus but not required.
