About the role:

• Xavier 10 North forms part of the internationally renowned and innovative Heart Lung Clinical Stream at St Vincent's Hospital.
• 30 bed ward consisting of 6 acute coronary care (1:2 ratio) and 24 cardiology beds.
• Providing comprehensive services to optimise patient care including interventional cardiology; advanced heart failure management; cardiac transplant and mechanical circulatory support.
• Additional 15% loading on annual leave taken.

About you:

• Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
• Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
• Ability to work within the interdisciplinary team, demonstrating collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated experience working in cardiology and a high dependency coronary care unit.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
