MELBOURNE MEAT MERCHANT - THOMASTOWN

We are currently looking for experienced and non-experienced Food Production/Meat Workers / Kitchen Hands and meat Labourer’s or people looking to start a career in the meat industry to be based at our Thomastown production room - located 15 minutes north of the Melbourne CBD.

As a General Labourer, you will have experience or be eager to train and work in various areas of our meat processing and food production

Be comfortable working in production environment, boning room, production and packing floor

Handling raw meat, prepping meat based ready meals and associated products

Adaptable to a fast-paced physical role

Focus on safety and quality

Willingness to learn and perform labouring duties such as trimming, packing, prepping ready to cook meals, packing orders, weighing, labelling, machine operating, manual handling and cleaning

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses:

A strong drive for operational excellence

Ability to work in a labour intensive and/or manual handling role

Punctual and reliable

Reliable transport (public transport train is 800 meters away)

Ability to work in hot or cold environments

Ability to work as part of the team and individually

Available for a permanent Full-time role
