In this role you will lead and support the development and implementation of the organisation's Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.

Key Accountabilities

You will lead and drive the development of the organisations engagement strategy in alignment with the strategic direction and operating plans.

Plan and implement strategies to engage with diverse stakeholder groups on issues of vital relevance to to organization's business objectives, including the needs of diverse audiences and multicultural groups. This also includes designing, implementing, participating in and evaluating key engagement programs and designing and evaluating communication to support engagement initiatives.

Develop and implement operational plans to identify and nature relationships with key internal and external individuals and organisations of importance to the organisation.

Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and externally to ensure that the engagement activity translates to measurable impact

Manage the organisation's stakeholder database and mapping in an accessible manner.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Thorough knowledge of community/stakeholder engagement, relationship management and project management principles

Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing

Extensive experience working in engagement within a complex, matrixed organisation

Contributing to the design, development and managing implementation of engagement strategies, operational plans and initiatives

Extensive experience leading and successfully implementing multiple projects and/ or events simultaneously

Ability to identify, build and nurture partnerships with external organisations to support organisational strategy

Exceptional communication skills, together with proven ability to skilfully influence, negotiate and motivate people and develop effective working relationships with senior stakeholders

Synthesising and analysing data from a number of sources to prepare presentations, reports and submissions for internal and external audiences

·Bachelor's degree in Communication/PR/Arts or similar.

Certified IAP2 practitioner (preferable).
