About the Role

Reporting to the Manager: Information Management (FMU), you will manage Adelaide University’s spatial information systems, including CAD drawings and related data. You will maintain data integrity, develop system standards, and ensure accurate, timely information is available to support key projects and stakeholders across the Facilities Management Unit.

The Facilities Management Unit (FMU) provides support to the University’s teaching, research and support functions in capital development, campus operations and commercial services.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the principles of building construction and engineering services, with demonstrated ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings and a high level understanding of current drafting standards and conventions
• Proven High level of proficiency in the use and customisation of AutoCAD and its integration with value-added software
• Familiarity with databases and information systems and maintaining data integrity
• Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and meticulous approach to applying standards and ensuring data quality
