About the opportunity:
The Capability Development Advisor is accountable for planning and implementing programs designed to enhance the technical skills of staff and drive continuous improvement so that Payroll Services can achieve its vision of delivering high-quality services to customers

The Capability Development Advisor reports directly to the Assistant Director, Payroll Services

All applicants should hold current Australian work eligibility status and may be subject to a criminal history check.

Opportunities to work paid overtime will likely be available.

All employees have the opportunity to participate in the Department's Performance Development processes providing coaching and personal development opportunities.

Location Adelaide Metropolitan.

About you
To be successful you will be required to demonstrate:

Proven ability to think creatively and propose innovative strategies to enhance the department's capabilities and operational outcomes.

Experience facilitating training and development activities that create a high level of participant engagement and are aligned to a continuous improvement culture.

A successful track record in leading teams towards improvement initiatives through effective change management processes.

Applied knowledge and understanding of best practice, learning and development methodologies and experience in the application of adult learning principles to roll out and maintain effective training.
